Orbit647 is a versatile multichannel video art installation that can also be presented as a single-channel video work. The piece consists of three video screens and the thirteen framed videos can shift in size and position, ideally displayed on black walls to create the illusion of expanding beyond the natural limits of the physical space. Each installation of the work invites a new way of storytelling, a new approach to visual communication. The videos were created and edited ‘choreographically' in direct dialogue with the music track, which has a duration of 6 minutes and 47 seconds. The track, titled ‘Stivos’ —the Greek word for track and field— plays in a continuous loop. Each video screen offers a distinct narrative, presenting a different way of seeing and telling stories. The work focuses on multimodality and the use of video art as a medium for creating performative compositions and visual installations. Through experimental multimedia forms, I explore the concept of reality as a virtual construct, combining analog and digital media with spatial experience. The artistic space becomes a playful laboratory of possibilities and sensations, where narratives are deconstructed, reassembled, and redefined.
